How do I pay the deposit?
The deposit can be paid by cash, check, money order, (or) cashier’s check made out to “Wedding DJ Detroit”. Once you decide that you want to book with Wedding DJ Detroit, you can put down a deposit to reserve your event date.
How do I pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance can be paid up to the day of the services rendered.
Can people request songs during an event?
Absolutely. People can request as many songs as they wish.
How do I set-up a meeting?
Contact Wedding DJ Detroit and we will set-up an appointment to accommodate your schedule.
What is discussed at a meeting?
We will discusses every aspect of the event with you and we will go over a DJ form and booking agreement.
How do I send my song requests to Wedding DJ Detroit?
You can email them or bring them to the final meeting.
Do you have back-up equipment?
Absolutely. We have a back-up system as well as a back-up DJ.
What does the banquet hall need to provide you with?
All the banquet hall needs to provide us with is an electrical outlet and a table at least 6 feet long.
Where will Wedding DJ Detroit travel?
Wedding DJ Detroit will travel to anywhere in Michigan. We have a 30 mile radius round trip from Lake Orion, Michigan. If it is outside that radius we only charge a small fee for travel expenses.
How many types of lights do you have?
We have a variety of top of the line lights. We have mood lights, colored lights, strobe lights, and best of all laser lights. We also have fog machines.
How can I find out if you are available for my event?
Contact us by phone or email and we will check to see if we are available for your event date.
When should I book my date?
It is recommended to book with us as soon as you know your event date. We have limited availability and we book up fast.
How do I book Wedding DJ Detroit services?
By putting down a deposit and signing a booking agreement to secure the event date.
What happens if the DJ that is booked for our event is unable to DJ because of something like a serious illness?
If this were to happen, then another DJ from our staff would handle the event. All of our DJs on staff are professionally trained to handle any type of event.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is only refundable within a week after it is received, for a full refund. After that the deposit is non-refundable.
Can we see Wedding DJ Detroit perform live?
Absolutely. If you would like to see us perform live at a wedding, contact us and we will set-up a wedding for you to come see us live at after getting authorization from a bride and groom. We can also show you video footage.
How long does it take you to set-up and breakdown?
It takes us anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour and a half depending on how large the set-up is for the event.
How much music do you have and will you have any song that I want available for my event? Is your music clean?
We have over 100,000 songs and counting covering all genres and ages. Music going as far back as the 40s as well as today’s newest hits. All of our music is clean and appropriate and the clean versions that you would hear on the radio. We will be able to get any song that you want for your event by downloading it off iTunes or our digital record pools that we are members of.
How early do you arrive at an event?
We arrive anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours before our start time.
Do you charge to set-up and break down?
Set-up and breakdown is free.
When will Wedding DJ Detroit contact me prior to the wedding to set-up a final meeting?
You will be contacted two weeks prior to the wedding by phone. We will set-up a final meeting to go over all of the final details and type out an outline for the event.
Can Wedding DJ Detroit send me a list of references?
Absolutely. We can send you a list of references through email by request.
